Scarves, Scarves for Everyone!

I have completed (officially) three more scarves! One for Andrea in Pittsburgh Steelers black and gold (my first dual color project) and two for the officers that direct traffic at home. Mom had commissioned me to do the latter project for the officers so I've been in a rush to work on those even though all Andrea's scarf needed was the tassels. Anyhoo, it's all complete and I like the way they turned out! Maybe later I can get a picture of the hat I made to match Andrea's scarf, hmm.

The green scarf was knit using a super bulky yarn and this pattern. The blue one was knit using this pattern, but the same brand/weight of yarn, so it came out looking a bit different. I still think the end result is fabulous though, if I do say so myself. I hope that the police officers back in The Ville enjoy them as I really liked working on these patterns.

And here is Andrea's scarf! Knit by holding two strands Lion Brand Homespun yarn that we found in a Michaels store. It came out super soft and long (by request); we're both very pleased. The pattern is one that Aunt Jan taught me; let's see if I can remember it...

CO stitches in multiples of four, however wide you want it

Rinse and repeat until the scarf is as long as you'd like it. Voila! Steelers scarf in the middle of Texas!
